Video: Rema Walks Off Stage In Atlanta Over Disapproval With Venue

Afrobeats sensation Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, made headlines during his Raves and Roses North America tour when he refused to perform in Atlanta, USA, on Thursday. The reason behind his decision was the poor condition of the venue.

Having enjoyed a successful tour in India, the singer expressed his disappointment in a video, stating that he couldn’t go ahead with the concert due to safety concerns and what he perceived as a lack of respect for his fans and Afrobeats music.

Asserting that Afrobeats is a significant genre that deserves better treatment, Rema declared that he wouldn’t tolerate any disrespect and always respects his fans. He announced that the show would be rescheduled as he couldn’t stand by while his fans were treated poorly. Despite the setback, he expressed his love for his fans.
