The Tiktok User Reveals The Reason Behind Defaming Eniola Badmus For A Sum Of N200,000

Ego Okoye, a TikTok user who was arrested for making defamatory statements against actress Eniola Badmus, admitted that she did so because her friend, Fortune Ibe, promised to pay her N200,000. In a video, Okoye apologized for her actions, stating that desperation to pay her house rent pushed her to defame the actress.

Badmus rejected settlement pleas and insisted on pursuing legal action against Okoye for tarnishing her hard-earned reputation. Okoye denied having any personal issues with Badmus but admitted that the lure of money drove her to make the false claims.

Badmus confronted Okoye in one of the video clips, expressing her disappointment and determination to take the matter to court. The video bore the insignia “Eniola Badmus TV.”
