Portable Proudly Displays His Recently Acquired Vehicle Following The Accident That Wrecked His Previous Car
Nigerian street musician Habeeb Olawunmi, known as Portable, has purchased a new car after narrowly escaping a life-threatening accident in his G Wagon in July 2023.
Taking to his Instagram on September 27, 2023, Portable shared images of his fresh acquisition, a BMW X3. In the photos, he confidently posed shirtless beside his new vehicle, proudly displaying the car keys.
In his caption, he expressed deep gratitude to God, stating, “Zazuu Am Nothing Without God. O De Le Lo Far Without God.” The post garnered congratulatory messages and comments from many well-wishers, although some playfully teased him for selecting an older car model.
This development follows Portable’s involvement in a harrowing accident on July 12, 2023, while driving his luxurious vehicle. The accident occurred during heavy rainfall at Osapa London, Lekki, while he was en route to his music studio.
Portable shared images of the damage to his car on Instagram and later reassured his fans of his safety through a live video. He promised them that he was unharmed and expressed his unwavering confidence in his musical abilities, pledging to acquire a new vehicle soon.
The controversial artist said, “Hustle wey buy me that one go buy another one. You can’t ruin my life; I buy moto, dem use mouth spoil am. The car didn’t kill me.”
Portable also swore to buy himself a house and a private jet soon.
