Mohbad’s mother recently shed light on her son’s reasons for advising her not to eat at Naira Marley’s house before his passing. In an emotional interview, she also revealed distressing allegations of physical abuse her son faced during the production of his EP, despite her attempts to intervene.

During this candid conversation, Mohbad’s mother disclosed that when visiting Naira Marley’s home, her son expressed genuine concerns about her safety and cautioned her against consuming any food or wine offered to her.

She emphasized that Mohbad’s primary purpose for visiting Naira Marley’s house was not to dine, as he often observed fasting routines in the mornings. Additionally, she mentioned that she frequently chose to stay wherever her son stayed, rejecting offers to stay at hotels.

“Whenever I go to Naira’s house and I am offered food, I won’t eat. Food is not why I went there, and I often fast in the mornings. My son would tell me not to eat it because he does not want me to die. He also refused the wine given to him. He said he was signed for three years.”
