Hilda Officially Verified As Guinness World Record Holder For Cooking Marathon

Nigerian chef Hilda Baci has officially broken the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon. Baci cooked for 100 hours straight, beating the previous record of 87 hours 45 minutes set by Lata Tondon of India in 2019.

Baci began her cooking marathon on May 11, 2023, at 4 p.m. local time. She cooked a variety of Nigerian dishes, including jollof rice, egusi soup, and fufu. She also cooked for charity, donating all of the food she made to local shelters and orphanages.
