In a candid interview with the Honest Bunch on Glitch Africa, popular Nigerian comedian Basketmouth, whose real name is Bright Okpocha, opened up about his alleged feud with fellow comedian AY Makun.
Basketmouth, who had been silent on the matter, denied ever being friends with AY, despite AY’s accusations of him being unresponsive over an N30,000 debt.
According to Basketmouth, he was paid the money in question and would never have had any form of relationship with AY based on the privileged information he received. He also stated that he had never visited AY’s house, and neither had AY ever been to his.

He went on to say that anyone who checks social media will never find a picture of him and AY together, clarifying that they were not friends.

“Just to set the record straight, AY is not my friend, we have never been friends. I’ve never visited his house, I’ve never personally invited him to my house. I’ve never called him any day to hang out. And it’s easy to tell because if you look on social media, you will never find a picture of me and AY.” Basketmouth said
