The Federal Executive Council has approved the installation of baggage scanners at all railway stations in Nigeria at a cost of N495 million. The devices are aimed at advancing the security of lives and property in the country’s railway facilities and continuing the railway revolution in the sector. In addition, the FEC has given approval for the maintenance of the pavement of the third mainland bridge at a cost of N6.278 billion naira, to be completed within 24 months.
