Ex-vp Osinbajo Gets New Global Appointment

Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Nigeria’s former Vice President, has recently been appointed to a new role, adding to his commitments.

After serving as vice president for eight years, Osinbajo concluded his term on May 29, 2023.

Taking to Facebook on Tuesday, the professor shared the news of his latest appointment.

“I am excited to announce that I have been appointed Global Advisor to Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet @globalenergyalliance.

“Together, we will work to unlock capital flows into the clean energy sector and boost Africa’s share in the global carbon market through #ACMI,” Osinbajo said.

In a brief period of time, the former vice president acknowledged that GEAPP has shown a strong dedication to assisting developing nations in transitioning to clean energy. They employ models that prioritize universal access to energy, foster economic growth, create employment opportunities, promote sustainable livelihoods, and address pressing climate objectives.

“I am thrilled at the opportunity to work with @globalenergyalliance .
