Court Detains Naira Marley And Sam Larry In Prison For 21 Days

A Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos State, has ordered the detention of Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, in police custody.

The court’s decision to remand the two celebrities and others came on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.

The Lagos State Police Command had requested that Fashola and others be detained for 30 days while they completed their investigation. However, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun ruled that Fashola and the others be remanded for a period of 21 days.

Naira Marley and Sam Larry are currently being investigated regarding the circumstances surrounding the death of the late singer Aloba Ilerioluwa, also known as Mohbad.
