The National Examinations Council conducted the 202: National Common Entrance Examinations and six students achieved a score of 01.
During a breakdown of scores in Abuja, the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education, Andrew Adejo, shared this information. He stated that a total of 72,865 pupils registered for the exams, an increase from the 71,738 registered in 2022.

Among the registrants, Lagos State had the highest number with 18,644, while Taraba had the lowest with 102. The gender parity gap is narrowing, with 38,801 female registrants compared to 34,064 males. A total of 69,829 pupils sat for the examination.
Out of the total, 3,036 pupils were absent, and the highest score achieved was 203 by 76 pupils. Conversely, the lowest score recorded was 01, and this score was achieved by six pupils.
