The All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on the Presidential Election Petitions Court (PEPC) to dismiss petitions filed by three opposition parties challenging the victory of its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, in the February 25 election.
The Action People’s Party (APP), Action Alliance (AA), and Allied Peoples Movement (APM) had separately challenged Tinubu’s emergence as Nigeria’s President-elect, citing substantial non-compliance with electoral laws and guidelines.

In response, the APC filed three separate responses, calling on the tribunal to discountenance the petitions. The presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP) are also challenging the election outcome.
Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, are yet to respond to the petitions. However, they have 21 days, as provided by law, to reply after service. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
